Understand the topic

Course design, placement arrangements and student support differ between schools. Interviewers can ask why their course fits you and whether you understand its demands. A ranking or a city's reputation says little about how you will engage with the course.

How to discuss it in Med interview

Check the official course page for your application year. Choose two concrete features, explain their educational value, then connect each to something you know about your learning. For a case-based curriculum, discuss preparing independently and contributing to a group. For early patient contact, consider learning communication alongside science. Name a challenge and how you would adapt.

Put it into words

I enjoy explaining an idea to a small group because it reveals gaps in my understanding. The course's small-group teaching interests me, and I would prepare beforehand so that I could contribute and learn from others. Add a verified feature of the actual course before using this structure.

Common pitfalls

Inventing course details, confusing another university's curriculum with this one, or relying entirely on prestige.
